# Create an Inventory Adjustment — Step-by-Step Guide

> Step-by-step guide to creating inventory adjustments in Kuvera Arc — add or remove stock, assign batches, apply filters, and export adjustment reports.

Inventory adjustments let you correct differences between the stock shown in Kuvera Arc and the physical stock in your warehouse or store. Use adjustments to add missing stock, remove damaged or expired stock, correct count mismatches, and keep inventory records aligned with actual stock.

<Warning>
  Inventory adjustments directly affect stock accuracy, stock valuation, and financial reporting. Review product quantities, rates, adjustment types, and warehouse selections carefully before saving or submitting an adjustment.
