# Product Attributes — Create and Manage Product Properties

> Define product attributes like size, color, and material in Kuvera Arc to power variant products, improve filtering, and support consistent reporting.

Product attributes describe products beyond basic fields like name and category. Use attributes such as **Color**, **Size**, **Material**, or **Packaging** to classify products, improve search and filtering, and generate variant products.

## Access Product Attributes

## Page layout

The Product Attributes page includes tools for adding, importing, searching, exporting, and managing product attributes.

## Attributes table

The attributes table lists each attribute and the values defined under it.

    Serial number of the attribute record.

    Name of the attribute, such as Color, Size, Material, or Packaging.

    Values or options defined under the attribute, such as Red, Blue, Small, Large, Cotton, or Polyester.

    Date and time when the attribute was created.

## Add an attribute

Use **Add New Attributes** to create a product attribute and define its available values.

    Go to **Inventory** and open **Product Attributes**.

    Click **Add New Attributes** in the top-right area of the page.

    Enter the attribute name and at least one attribute value.

    Click **Add Another Value** to add additional options under the same attribute.

    Click **Add Attribute** to save the attribute and make it available in Kuvera Arc.

    **Attribute Name** — The product property you are describing.

    Examples: Color, Size, Material, Packaging

    **Attribute Values** — The available options under the attribute.

    Examples: Red, Blue, Green / Small, Medium, Large / Cotton, Polyester

  <Accordion title="Adding multiple values">
    To add more than one value to an attribute:

    1. Click **Add Another Value** in the attribute form.
    2. Enter the additional value in the new field.
    3. Repeat for each value you need to add.

    You can add as many values as the attribute requires before saving.

  Once an attribute is saved, it becomes available for product setup, filtering, classification, reporting, and variant generation.

  Click **Reset** to clear the form and start over before saving.

## Manage existing attributes

Each attribute in the table includes management actions from the **Options** column.

    Use **Edit Attribute** to update an existing attribute. You can update the attribute name, modify existing values, or add more values using **Add Another Value**.

    Click **Update Attribute** to save your changes.

  Inconsistent attribute names or missing values can make product data harder to organize, filter, scale, and use for variant generation.

## Import attributes

Use **Import Attributes** to upload multiple product attributes at once using a spreadsheet file. This reduces manual entry and speeds up setup for large catalogs.

## Access the import page

## Import workflow

    Upload your attribute spreadsheet file. Supported formats are **CSV**, **XLSX**, and **XLS**.

    Match the column headers in your spreadsheet to the required fields in Kuvera Arc.

  Click **Download Sample** if you are unsure about the required spreadsheet format. Using the sample template helps prevent import errors.

## Import checks

Before uploading your attribute file, review it for common issues.

## Why attributes matter

Product attributes are especially important when you manage product variants. Kuvera Arc uses attributes and values to create product combinations, such as size-color combinations for apparel or material-packaging combinations for goods.
