Tax & Terms Configuration defines the financial rules used across Kuvera Arc. Use this section to manage tax options, payment terms, and payment methods for sales, purchase, finance, billing, and reporting workflows.
Some values are pre-configured by default to support regulatory compliance and system consistency. Default values may be restricted from editing or removal.

Where settings apply

Tax options, payment terms, and payment methods are available across related workflows.
Sales invoices, sales orders, customer payments, and credit notes use tax settings and payment method options configured here.
Purchase bills, purchase orders, supplier payments, and debit notes use payment terms and payment method options from this configuration.
Financial records, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow statements, VAT reports, and exports reflect these tax and payment rules.
Custom entries are available system-wide immediately after saving. They appear alongside default values in relevant dropdowns and selection fields.

Best practices

Keep default tax, payment term, and payment method values unchanged unless your administrator or compliance requirements specify otherwise.
Name custom terms and methods clearly so users can select the correct option during transactions.
Check existing defaults before adding custom payment terms or payment methods.
Tax changes can affect VAT reports, invoice totals, purchase bills, and financial summaries.
If your business uses industry-specific payment terms such as 2/10 Net 30, add them as custom terms so your team can select them consistently.
