Inventory adjustments let you correct differences between the stock shown in Kuvera Arc and the physical stock in your warehouse or store. Use adjustments to add missing stock, remove damaged or expired stock, correct count mismatches, and keep inventory records aligned with actual stock.
Inventory adjustments directly affect stock accuracy, stock valuation, and financial reporting. Review product quantities, rates, adjustment types, and warehouse selections carefully before saving or submitting an adjustment.
When to create an adjustment
Create an inventory adjustment when you need to correct verified stock differences.
Add missing stock Add stock that is physically available but missing from Kuvera Arc.
Remove unavailable stock Remove damaged, expired, lost, or otherwise unavailable stock.
Correct stock counts Fix quantity mismatches found during a physical stock count.
Align after audit Align system inventory with physical inventory after an audit.
Inventory adjustment is a controlled stock correction workflow. It should not replace regular purchase, sales, or material transfer processes.
