Product Units — Define and Manage Measurement Units
Create, import, export, and manage measurement units in Kuvera Arc to standardize how products are tracked, purchased, sold, and reported.
Product units define how products are measured, stored, purchased, sold, and reported in Kuvera Arc. Use Product Units to create consistent measurement names and acronyms, such as Piece, Kilogram, Liter, or Box.
Use Add New Units when you need to create a new measurement type manually.

Open Product Units
Go to Inventory and open Product Units.

Click Add New Units
Click Add New Units in the top-right area of the page.

Enter unit details
Fill in the unit name and acronym in the popup form.

Save the unit
Click Add Unit to save the new measurement unit.
Unit fields
Unit Name — The full name of the measurement unit.Examples: Piece, Kilogram, Liter, BoxAcronym — The short form or abbreviation used in product records.Examples: Pc, Kg, L, Bx
Click Cancel to discard your entry and close the form without creating a unit.
Use Import Units to upload multiple measurement units at once using a spreadsheet file. This is useful during initial setup or when migrating unit data from another system.

Open Product Units
Go to Inventory and open Product Units.

Click Import Units
Click Import Units in the top-right area of the page.

Upload your file
Upload a CSV, XLSX, or XLS spreadsheet file containing your unit records.

Match header
Match the column headers in your spreadsheet to the required fields in Kuvera Arc.

Verify that spreadsheet values are correctly connected to the unit name and acronym fields.

Finalize the import
Complete the import to add the measurement unit data into the system.

Click Download Sample if you are unsure about the required spreadsheet format. Using the sample template helps prevent import errors.
Each unit record includes management options from the Options column.

Edit unit details
Use Edit to update the unit name or acronym. After making changes, click Update Unit to save them.
Disable a unit
Use Disable to remove a unit from active use. Disabled units are no longer available when creating or editing products, but remain available for historical reference.
Export unit records
Use Export Data to download measurement unit records. Available formats include XLSX, PDF, and CSV. You can export the full list or only the current view.
View inactive units
Use the Options menu to display measurement units that have been disabled or are currently inactive.
Measurement units are foundational to inventory accuracy. Every product depends on a unit to define how it is counted, purchased, sold, priced, and reported.
